5 books-guidelines as a step-by-step manuals to organizing infrastructure in protected areas.

The guidelines are intended for managers of protected areas, authorities in the field of ecology and natural resources, economics and tourism, local communities, investors and entrepreneurs, builders, architects, developers.

It allows finding out what objects are needed to be built in nature reserves and national parks, assessing their value and understanding how to use the concept of sustainable development for their design, construction and operation.

A series of manuals present comprehensive solutions for the development of protected areas, including an analysis of international and Russian experience, features of sociocultural programming depending on target groups, functional zoning, the creation of infrastructure in protected areas and environmental education practices, as well as systemic approaches to the organization of the waste management process.

The guidelines were reviewed by the Scientific, Technical and Public Councils of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia and then sent to 218 protected areas admiistrations and to 153 global environmental organizations. The guidelines were translated into English and French.
